Last night, we went down to San Clemente for an Open House for Josh. He graduated from San Clemente High School a few days ago and is starting the Summer Session of BYU next week. He is a good cousin and friend to our boys. We are proud of Josh and hope he has fun at school.
Last night, Luke had his final event as a Diamondback in HHLL T-ball--the team party at pizza co. He was proud to receive a medal for 5th place in the tournament and a trophy for Best Defensive Player. He loved playing catcher. The coach and team mom did such a nice job and were so generous. He also got a bucket of goodies, a t-shirt, and a CD with some great shots of their game versus the Angels. I had to post several of the best photos.
I have been meaning to start a family blog for a while but now that summer is here, I seem to have a chance. I'm sure it will look pretty cheezy until I get some practice but I'm giving it a shot. The main reason for starting this blog is to keep in touch with family and friends but an alternate motive is to find some of my fellow alumni from Los Altos High School. Next year will be 20 years since I graduated from high school and I'm starting to plan a reunion. I have seen a lot of people's pictures on Doug Freeze's website lahsreunion.com but need to get in touch with a lot more alumni from the Class of '89.
Brian and I have been married since January 1996. We have four sons Eric (9/97), Jacob(4/00), Luke(5/02), and Ethan(2/05). Before we met, I served an LDS mission in Ogden, Utah and graduated from BYU. Brian served a mission in Rosario, Argentina. We both attended Cal Poly Pomona where Brian got a Marketing degree and I got a Social Studies teaching credential. Brian works for ATT (formerly LA Cellular, AT&T Wireless, and Cingular) and I substitute teach for the Parent Ed Dept. of the Hacienda La Puente School District. All along the way we have fun with our boys and serve in the church and the community.
